I have Dell Optiplex 3010. Now it's running Windows 7 and it is working fine, but when I try to install another operating system (Windows XP and Windows Server 2003) after booting from CD, it gets blue screen (before the repair and format options) and (for Windows Server 2008) it gets stuck at license agreement. Is there something that I can do?

You encounter this behavior due to some BIOS settings. It's possible that you have activated Serial ATA option in BIOS which doesn't allow installation of Windows XP on it. The result is a BSOD (blue screen of death), like in your case. To change this, reboot your computer and press F2 before it boots up. In the DOS menu, go to Config > Serial ATA (SATA) > change this to Compatibility / IDE. After you've done this, try to install Windows XP on your computer. It should work without throwing a BSOD error.

If you have problems with Dell Support Center, download a new version from its official website. Make sure to remove the old one installed on your computer. Additionally, launch the software with the Administrator rights and it should work again. You might need to clear the registry entries. You can do it with the help of CCleaner. Download and install the package and then access the Registry section to clean the leftovers.
I recently received your notice to update my Dell Support Center. After closing all other applications and attempting to load it, the process stopped at "Removing older versions of this application". Then, I received "Error 1306: Another application has exclusive access to the file C:\Documents and Settings\ All Users\ Application Data\ Support Soft\ Dell Support Center\ SYSTEM\ State\ logs\ sprtcmd.log" message. How can I complete the upgrade?

In order to fix this issue, go to Start, type msconfig and open the application. Press the Startup tab, un-check the box next to Dell Support Center, click Apply, reboot the PC and try again. If doesn't work, I suggest you upgrade the application manually.
If you use Windows XP or below you can go to Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs. In the Currently installed programs box, click on the Dell Support Center program and then click Remove. If you have Windows Vista or above you need to go to Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features. Select the Dell Support Center application and click on Uninstall. If doesn't work, try using Revo Uninstaller. Even if it can't uninstall the application normally, it will force it to uninstall by wiping out all traces of its presence from the system.
After the removing process is finished, download the latest version of the software and install it following the provided instructions. Make sure that you're logged on an Administrator account when you install the program.

The application should be found in the Dell folder inside Program Files. That's where all the applications are installed. If you have a 64bit operating system, the folder is in Program Files (x86).
If you want to uninstall it, try using Revo Uninstaller. Even if it can't uninstall the application normally, it will force it to uninstall by wiping out all traces of its presence from the system.
I am facing some problems. No matter where I go (Fancast, CBS, Veoh, AOL) and try to download a full TV show episode to my RealPlayer, it never downloads. The only thing I ever get is a few seconds advertisement the show had in the beginning. I can't download the show no matter what site I use. I don't know what I'm doing wrong or what I'm not doing. I've tried everything to fix the issue. Also, I've heard a siren type sound once in awhile. Can you help me?
Also, I want to know how to burn videos. If I'm burning them to a DVD disc, can I start with the first video and then add another and another, or do I need to do something else? I never did this before. I only put one video on a disc and left it like that. I'm using a lot of space that way. I'm afraid that the new videos will erase the previous ones. Can you help?

In order to fix the problems, I recommend that you upgrade RealPlayer to the latest version. Once you download and install the new version of the program, you can download videos from Internet using the instructions that you can find on the Support page. Also, if you want to burn the videos to a DVD, you can add as many as you want until you fill the empty space of the disc. You can safely add them to a disc that already contains a video without erasing it. You can add the videos using drag-and-drop feature or the Add button. I recommend checking the How to Burn a DVD page for further information.
